What is Article 243J of Indian Constitution

In summary, Article 243J mandates the formation of a State Finance Commission in each state. The Finance Commission is responsible for reviewing the financial status of Panchayats (local self-government institutions) and making recommendations to the Governor on various matters, including the distribution of taxes and duties between the state and Panchayats, grants-in-aid to Panchayats, measures to improve their financial position, and any other financial issues referred to it by the Governor.
